I have been a practicing artist for the past ten years.
I stepped into the double role of painter/ visual
communication designer three years ago. At present,
I am working towards a PhD in cognitive engineering
with an emphasis on interactivity and visual
communication design. I received my Master’s in visual
communication design from the Ohio State University
in 2003 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1997 from Sir J.J.
school of Art in Bombay, India.

I am interested in exploring ways in which artifacts
mediate our thinking. Painting and design, for me, are
tools of exploration.
